In these cases, you’re going to need to “fool” the Firestick into “believing” that it’s on your previous Wi-Fi network.
In the worst-case scenario of not being able to access your Fire TV using either your PC, Wi-Fi, or remote, there is a workaround. Once you’ve entered the four-digit code into your mobile device (you’ll be guided through the process), go to Settings, then System, and, finally, Reset to Factory Settings on your Android/iOS device. Download it, make sure that it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Firestick and your PC, and start it up.
